We created Haute Dokimazo because we believe that the brains in the room are just as interesting and valuable as the people on the stage. So we removed the stage because we believe that everyone has a story to tell.

Our participants trust that we will provide a safe environment so they can have the courage to speak more openly, share more freely, and take more risks.

OUR

HUMANIFESTO

We believe everyone has a story to tell. Our mission is to create a safe and collaborative environment in which our participants can have the courage to speak more openly, contribute more freely, and take greater risks that promise the greatest personal and professional relationships and rewards.

5 PILLARS OF A

HAUTE THINK TANK

1.WELCOME

ATTACK

We believe that the registration experience is pivotal to setting the tone for your entire event. Why not use those first impressions for good instead of evil? Actually WELCOME your attendees and introduce them to other attendees?

Starting with an energetic hug or handshake, our signature Welcome Attack is how we kick off the event right and wow attendees right from the start.

2.FAMILY

MEAL

Buffets are impersonal. Buffets are weird. You get a plate, then try to find a place to land with it. Blech. We love family style meals! Breaking bread together, meeting people, THAT'S how you get a party started!

All of our events begin with a family style meal. We introduce you to other attendees at your table, and we work hard to find locations that have real tables - not 72" rounds where you can't hear the people on the other side! We want you to begin your event experience with a small group of friends so you have familiar faces to say hi to throughout the event.

3.CROWD-SOURCING

Unconferences are not new. The format has been around since the 80s. We love the physical engagement that writing topic ideas and sessions suggestions on large sticky notes brings to the event.

The energy of the chaos and the excitement of co-creating brings the magic to a Haute Dokimazo event. We then create an agenda and assign facilitators from the crowdsourcing exercise.

4.THINK-

TANK

These are the sessions. We believe that everyone has a story to tell. Not just that keynote speaker who got paid to be on stage. From the crowdsourced content we uncovered in the beginning, we create sessions with participants facilitating the conversations throughout the day.

We create a safe environment for our participants to solve each others problems. We've been told that it's like group therapy - real conversations, no judgement, people helping people.

5.RETRO-

SPECTIVE

Ever leave an event wishing that you could have told the organizers what you loved and what you wish they'd change?

We end every Haute Dokimazo with a retrospective where we give participants the opportunity to share (publicly at a microphone) what they loved about their experience, and what we should fix. We capture this feedback live and projected.
